What Do We Do About Unanswered Prayers?

Jun 29, 2025    Kyle Davies

Jesus' parable of the persistent widow in Luke 18:1–8 challenges us to persevere in faith, even when God seems silent. The unjust judge’s eventual response to the widow highlights God's far greater readiness to hear and answer His children. We're urged to pray with specificity, following examples like George Mueller, which helps us better recognize God's responses. This sermon explores four ways God might answer prayer: “no,” “grow,” “slow,” and “go.” Each invites us to trust His wisdom, develop character, and align with His timing. Ultimately, prayer deepens our relationship with God and strengthens a resilient, enduring faith.
