Stories We Tell, #4: Isaiah 11:1
Kyle Davies   -

How do we have peace when it seems so out of reach? We’re asking and answering this question in week three of our series called “Stories We Tell.”

See, “Remember back when…” One time back when I was a kid…” “Once upon a time…” “In the year…” Every great story has an opening line. As you hear it, you know you’re in for some nostalgia. The story is told again and again because of the emotions it makes us feel or the memories it conjures up. The birth of Jesus had been anticipated for generations.

Stories were told about God’s past rescue and the hope of a Messiah to come. Each week in this series, we will look at prophecies from the OT surrounding the birth of Jesus in Matthew and how they came to pass. This advent season, reflect on God’s promises through “Stories We Tell.”

Every week you can expect to be encouraged during this time through song, stories, and teaching.
