Everyday Church, Everyday Community
October 20, 2024
Thank you for you interest in Generations Church! On this page, you will find basic information about our gatherings, learn what to expect during your visit, pre-check in your kids, and more. You can also choose to receive a pre-visit email to get a conversation started with one of our staff.
At Generations, you’ll find that everyone dresses in what they’re comfortable in, come as you are!
We always welcome early arrivals to connect and eat. You’ll find most people mingling around the room, kids buzzing about, and some set-up being finalized. You’ll find us stopping to circle up and pray at 10:00 am, which is followed by sharing stories, eating, and mingling about the room.
If you plan to bring children to the kids ministry, head to the children’s check-in door in the main room to check them in. You can even pre-register your kids for check-in below. For the safety of your child, you will receive a unique sticker that matches your child’s name tag to turn in at pickup.
The gathering more formally begins at 10:30 am and lasts roughly an hour and fifteen minutes.
We provide coffee, water, and some light snacks. Every week we begin with music (a mix of gospel, contemporary, and hymns) and a time of response. We hope this helps you center yourself.
During this time, we move around the room to sing, pray, and take communion. Our host will share some announcements, give you a moment to refill your drink, dismiss our elementary kids to their class, and then read the teaching text from the Bible.
One of our pastors will preach a sermon. Our sermon series’ are both expository (verse-by-verse) and topical (specific topics). We will then close with a collective prayer.
No rush! Kids regularly play together. You can easily find a member of our team to answer any questions, pick up your kids, drop off any prayer/praise cards, or chat with someone else.
Pro Tip: You can also fill out a Share Your Story Card or a Prayer/Praise Card anytime during the morning. We promise we won’t spam you, we just want to follow up and pray for you!
One last thing: We purposefully try to cultivate everyday faith. We hope a gathering inspires you to connect with others and impact the next generation beyond Sunday!
We're located within a business complex across from Safeway and Kaiser Permanente in Salmon Creek. 14313 NE 20th Ave A-104, Vancouver, WA, 98686
You;ll enter a single door to a lobby. As you turn right, you'll enter the main meeting space with chairs and tables set up. The restrooms can be found on the far wall and the kids classrooms can be found from the main meeting space.
Throughout the week we share parking with other businesses. We ask that everyone park in the green zone unless you are elderly or handicapped.
On Sunday mornings at Generations, we offer age-specific programming for kids birth to 5th grade in a safe and engaging environment. If you plan to check in your children, we can speed up the arrival process for you by checking them in early.
