The Father's Heart

Reading: Matthew 7:7-11

Devotional: Today's passage reminds us of God's loving nature as our Heavenly Father. Just as earthly parents desire to give good gifts to their children, how much more does our perfect Father in Heaven want to bless us? Reflect on your view of God - do you see Him as a distant figure or as a loving Father? Take a moment to thank God for His fatherly love and care. Consider how this understanding of God's character might change the way you approach Him in prayer and daily life.

- What "good gifts" has God given you that you initially didn't recognize as answers to prayer?

- In what ways do you struggle to trust that God truly wants to bless you rather than withhold from you?
